The ABA Members got hands-on experience making sausages

On Wednesday 21st March Mike Hanson hosted an Ashburton Business Association ‘Biz After 5’ networking event at Netherby Meats. Around 20  members attended, taking a tour of this local award winning butchery and learning how things work behind the scenes.

Netherby Meats are proud to be supporting the 2012 Relay for life. Sausages from the butchery will be fuelling members of the’ Skip to It’ and ‘Wrights Drycleaners’ teams as they take to the pavement on Sunday 24 March to rasie money for The Cancer Society and fight back against cancer.

Mike’s mobile abattoir truck was recently treated to a makeover, with sign writing proudly identifying the truck with Netherby Meats. This has helped to raise the profile of the mobile abattoir and made it far easier to spot when out and about. Keep an eye out for the new signage on a road near you.

Netherby Meats had a great day out at the Ashburton A&P Show in October 2011. Mike was kept busy sizzling gourmet sausages to fill hungry bellies as people could not get enough of his locally made wares.
